In 2025, the IDCA Board established several coaches awards to honor the dedicated educational professionals serving our students and the debate community writ large. Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, the Board and IDCA member schools will have the opportunity to nominate policy debate coaches in Illinois for some, but not all of the awards.
